“I have been medicated for near on a decade for thyroid deficiencies, but was advised to discontinue a daily prescription by my GP after routine yearly blood tests showed my body is functioning perfectly well without them.”

I have been a client of Neil’s since March of 2006, initially beginning to seek help for general wellness and to investigate ongoing problems with intermittent neck pain I had endured since I was a child. I had no prior experience with chiropractic health care, and was assured by Neil it would be life changing so went into it fairly open minded.

I must maintain that no doctor or health professional is a miracle maker, and a client is as responsible for their attitude and openness to treatment, in order to attain some kind of positive result. I have found that consistent adjustments over time, against some sort of instantaneous outcome, is what has been the mainstay of my own successful outcome of vastly improved wellness since being Neil’s client.

Chiropractic care has become a routine that I look forward to and enjoy, not only for the ongoing benefits I feel with reduced physical discomfort but as much for enjoying being under Neil’s care. I have not suffered with any severe neck pain as I would ordinarily once or twice a year, since beginning chiropractic care. I have been medicated for near on a decade for thyroid deficiencies, but was advised to discontinue a daily prescription by my GP after routine yearly blood tests showed my body is functioning perfectly well without them. I cannot prove it, but it’s hard to feel that chiropractic might not have played a part in this.

For at least the last 5 months, I have enrolled my children who are 6 and 9 under Neil’s care also, and find he relates well to children, getting down to their level where trust is established so he may care for them. The children enjoy coming along, and after some initial apprehension, feel confident during adjustments, predominantly as Neil is able to secure their trust make them feel okay. Since care began, their teachers report increased alertness with learning and both boys, who are a bit shy, have become more involved with their peers and appear more confident. In correlation with beginning care, my 9 year old’s teacher noted he was a lot better at getting on task, which any parent of a boy will know can be a challenge at the best of times.

Beyond my friendship with Neil, I have found his bedside manner to be one that leaves me feeling self assured and confident I can be cared for with respect and dignity whilst in his care. He has a friendly and professional bedside manner and is always interested in assessing my ongoing health changes, and any life situations which may contribute to my health and wellbeing, as well as always providing helpful suggestions outside of the practice towards healthier balance and physical wellness.
